Hiking

Many of our guests come to Provence with hiking in mind. There are over 1900 miles of established trails in the Vaucluse which link villages together and take you through vineyards, farms and orchards and past historic monuments, churches and bories, taking in stunning views along the way.

Cycling

It is well know that the French love their cycling!  Cabrieres d'Avignon is situated close to Mont Ventoux which is often part of the Tour de France.  In 2014 the Tour de France went past the village and quite a crowd turned out to support it.

The house is ideally suited as a base for cycling holidays especially in the cooler months of April and September, and there are cycling companies which arrange the transport of bike equipment or the rental of bikes after you have arrived.

Accrobranching

There are a few companies that offer this tree top experience.  We have tried it with family and friends whose ages ranged from 11 to 50 years of age and it proved very popular.  Safety precautions were paramount and there were levels to suit all ages!
